22nd District Recanvassing Dates Set

Recanvassing in the 22nd Congressional District race between Democratic incumbent Anthony Brindisi and Republican Claudia Tenney begins today in 3 of the district’s 8 counties. But it won’t be until Wednesday that Chenango County begins its recanvass. Recanvassing is not the same as a recount as it doesn’t involve the re-examination of all ballots cast. Attorneys for Brindisi and Tenney are due in State Supreme Court on Friday.
