Join us every Saturday morning at 7:00 for our community affairs program "This Week in Central New York."

On this week's show (September 21):

Big Chuck talks with Karen Sullivan who is directing this year's Otsego County Hazardous Waste Day taking place today (Friday) and tomorrow (Saturday, Sept. 21)

Big Chuck also chats with Patricia Leonard, Executive Director of Family Service Association at 277 Chestnut Street in Oneonta.  It is almost time for their annual "famous" golf ball drop fundraiser. She also talks about the mission and services offered at Family Service Association.

Leslie Ann interviews Lynn Gluckert, Executive Director of Catholic Charities of Delaware, Otsego, and Schoharie Counties, along with Frank Cavalieri who owns Mountain View Preserve and Kennels in Schenevus.  Catholic Charities has teamed up with Cavalieri to raise funds for local veterans in need with a pheasant tower shoot  fundraiser.

Big Chuck wraps up this week's show with a visit from Ameen Aswad from the Otsego County prison ministry organization. He talks about how this program is helping inmates lead contributing lives.

"This Week in Central New York" will return next Saturday with new guests.  If you belong to a non-profit group or community group and would like to come on our show, please email us at cnyproduction@townsquaremedia.com.
