Area Libraries Getting NYS Grants

Libraries in Otsego, Delaware and Chenango Counties are getting state grants for repairs and upgrades. A $75,000 grant to the Edmeston Free Library goes to exterior and structural renovations while the Worcester Free Library received around $92,000 for mechanical and interior finishing. A repaved driveway and parking lot is coming to the Kinney Memorial Library in Hartwick thanks to a $10,500 grant. The Andes Public Library will make their building ADA-compliant with an $86,000 grant and the South New Berlin Free Library received a $9,400 grant for renovations.
