Forget the Sales! It’s a Big Game Weekend in New York!
As millions across New York stuff their turkeys and their faces, while preparing to shop until they drop, others will set out this weekend on very different trips. Thanksgiving has always been a marked holiday weekend for hunters, as for many, it is the only long weekend they have during 'Big Game Season' in the Empire State. As many as 700,000 residents hunt in New York State and nearly 50,000 non-residents come here to do the same.
Former NY Jets Running Back Zac Stacy Nabbed in Florida
The New York Jets continue to have dirt thrown on them, even through the actions of their former players. According to reports by New York Daily News reporter Dennis Young, "Zac Stacy, a former Jets running back, violently assaulted his ex-girlfriend on Saturday, punching her in the head and then throwing her against a television and their son’s chair. The woman said Stacy was visiting her and their five-month-old son, who can be seen in the video."

Should New York Hunters Be Testing Deer for COVID-19?
As New Yorkers ease into the thick of deer hunting season, the questions on their minds are usually ones that have to do with location and weather. Certainly few have had to ponder, 'does this deer that I am aiming at have COVID-19?' Well, one study done by researchers at Penn State University says hunters may want to think again.
New York Giants Happy to See Saquon in Red…For Now
New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley hit another milestone Thursday on his road to the Big Blue backfield alongside Daniel Jones. Barkley participated in the joint practice with the New England Patriots. This is a great sign for Giants fans that await the return of one of their biggest weapons. Head Coach Joe Judge's backfield has been missing number 26 since the 2 game of last season against the Bears. Judge and Barkley hardly got to know each other.
Buffalo Bills Eye Training Camp Return to Rochester
NFL Training camp is a special experience. Generally, it is a low cost, if not free, way for fans, especially young fans to get up close to the players that they see on their large tv's every Sunday during the NFL season. Buffalo Bills training camp had been held at St. John Fisher College since 2000. The pandemic forced most NFL teams back into their home stadium facilities for ease of containment last season and this season as well.
Buffalo Fans Welcomed by Bills to Training Camp

Saratoga Is Ready for a “Jim Dandy” of a Weekend
One of the very cool aspects of living near the historic Saratoga Race Course is you get to see the best race horses in the world compete live. They walk right through the crowd on their journey from their stables across the street, to starting gate. This weekend is an awesome example with 2021 Belmont Stakes winner Essential Quality highlighting the entries in Saturday's 58th running of the Grade 2 Jim Dandy Stakes. Essential Quality and Hot Rod Charlie battled it out for the 1 1/2 mile race only to see Essential Quality win by a length and a half.
New York Helping New York
It's funny how some Yankee fans despise the Mets and vice versa. However, when the Mets can help the Yankees by grounding the Jays or the Bombers can assist the Amazin's by dusting the Phils, well then we are all New Yorkers and let's help each other! Right? Right!
Same City…Opposite Directions
This weekend's Subway Series between the Mets and Yankees was one to remember and another one to forget. Which one depends on who you ask. Queens will have one answer and the Bronx may give you a gesture instead.
