Unfortunately, it's looking more and more like this could indeed be the final Pumpkin Festival in Norwich. The 20th annual festival is this Friday and Saturday, October 26th and 27th. Organizers have labelled this year's event as "20th Annual Pumpkin Festival, Our Final Farewell."

The Norwich Theater Company will be holding auditions for their Christmas production for three days, Saturday September 22nd at 10 AM, the 23rd at 2 PM, and the 24th at 6 PM.

Well, it's really a "Halfway to St. Patrick's Day" celebration. Yes, we are halfway to green beer and leprechauns, so this Saturday, September 15th, come celebrate in style with the foot stomping, hand clapping Irish music of the "Ryan Clan."

The Chenango Arts Council has announced that they have grants available for artists, teaching artists, and arts organizations in Chenango, Otsego, and Broome counties. Two types of grants will be offered, a Community Arts grant and Art Education grants.

Just because summer is slipping away, that doesn't mean the fun stops in Norwich, oh no. Coming up Saturday and Sunday, September 8th and 9th, Colorscape Chenango returns to East and West Parks.

Dairy Day organizers are still looking for folks to join in the Dairy Day parade this Saturday, June 16th. Farmers, when the chores are done, drive your John Deere to the CWS parking lot and join in the parade

Get ready for a great day of family fun and music on the 4th of July at Fireworks Over The Fairgrounds on the Chenango County Fairgrounds. It will be a day of food, rides, crafts, vendors, and of course, music.  The tunes start at 3 PM  and among the performers featured will be local favorites Cassidy Lynn, The Beadle Brothers Band, Kaitlyn Jackson and Mike Davis...

We were joined in the Big Kat studios Tuesday morning by Debbie Bowers and Rick Stark, organizers of the 2nd Annual Music and Balloon Fest, which takes place July 4th at the Chenango county Fairgrounds. There will be a full day of family fun, beginning with a Karaoke contest at 10 am and ending with the fireworks display...
