Chenango County To Expand Holiday Contact Tracing

The Chenango County Health Department announces preparations are made to deal with any rapid COVID-19 case increases during the holiday season including an increase in contact tracing capacity. Social gatherings have now been identified as the number one spreader of COVID-19. More than 6 in 120 of new COVID-19 cases are from large social gatherings and parties held during the Thanksgiving holiday week where the 10 persons recommendation was not followed.
