WATCH: Chenango Forks Football Pitch In To Give Teammate Special Gift
It seems like everywhere that we turn, we seem to find bad or distressing news. It's not always easy finding the good news in life and when we find it, we should let everyone know.
I feel bad for our children as they try to navigate their lives in school. Everyone seems to have an opinion on masks and vaccines. They hear so many different voices from so many different people. It can't be easy to decide what is right.
So when we hear good news about one of the kids in our area then we want to pass it along. It has to do with a JV football player from the Chenango Forks School District named Xaiver but his teammates call him "X."
It isn't all good news for X because he is recovering from a rare lung disease, according to the CF Athletics' Facebook post. The good news is what his fellow football players did for him. The Chenango Forks varsity team pitched together and made a special presentation to this young man.
Take a guess on who X's favorite NFL player is then check out the video to see if you are right.
As you can tell, the Chenango Forks football team cares a lot for X and they wanted to find a way to give back to him. It's incredible what they did for this young man and it's a moment that he'll never forget.
By the way, I'm not crying...you are.
