Playground Accident Sends Chris Janson’s Daughter to the Hospital
Chris Janson's young daughter, Georgia, is recovering well after a recent accident sent her to the hospital — but she has a cast to show for it.
“A mom’s worst nightmare to be traveling & your baby falls off the monkey bars,” Janson's wife, Kelly, wrote on Sunday (June 2) on her Instagram page alongside a series of photos that show Georgia getting a cast put on.
"Luckily she’s ok & I’ll be home soon. Horse camp w/ grandma," Mom further explains.
A rep for "Good Vibes" hitmaker Janson tells Taste of Country that Georgia fell off of the monkey bars at horseback riding camp. She is now at home recuperating, and if she is anything like her go-getter dad, she will be back on the saddle again soon.
"So proud to have this sweet baby girl home," Kelly said on Monday (June 3) with a picture of Georgia in bed, smiling while showing off her cast. "She’s a tough cookie. We all signed her cast."
Chances are Georgia will be rooting on her dad this week, as he is up for Video of the Year for his mini feature "Drunk Girl" at the 2019 CMT Awards, which will air live from Nashville on Wednesday (June 5).
Janson will also take the stage at the famed Grand Ole Opry for two shows Tuesday (June 4) and Nissan Stadium on Sunday (June 9), both during the fan-loaded CMA Fest. From there, he will return to his spot as an opener on Chris Young's Raised on Country Tour, which hits Syracuse, New York, on June 13.
