Cuomo Orders Flags At Half Staff For Fallen Trooper

omo directed that flags on all state government buildings be flown at half-staff on Tuesday in honor of New York State Police Trooper Michael J. Anson. He died last week as the result of cancer that he developed following his assignment to the search and recovery efforts at the World Trade Center site following the 9/11 Terrorist Attacks. Trooper Anson was a member of the State Police for 31 years.
