Eric Church Cancels San Antonio Show This Weekend to Go to Final Four
I knew a few people who were heading up to San Antonio this weekend to check out Eric Church in concert at the AT&T Center. Well! That is not happening! As reported by WOAI in San Antonio, this email was sent to all of Erc Church's ticket holders. “As a lifelong Carolina basketball fan, I’ve watched Carolina and Duke battle over the years but to have them matchup in the Final Four for the first time in the history of the NCAA Tournament is any sports enthusiast’s dream," If you had purchased tickets to his show this weekend, you will get a refund!
Now to be clear, the 'Cheif' Eric Church did not reschedule his show he canceled outright. Now, I am a huge sports fan and get his enthusiasm about his team going into an epic game. However, you had a professional obligation to your fans. How do you view his decision to cancel his almost sold-out show to go see UNC take on Duke in the Final Four? Let us know in the Facebook comments of this status.
The Houston Cougars had an impressive run to the Elite 8 and lost to Villanova 50-44, last weekend. The final four teams are: North Carolina taking on Duke and Villanova taking on Knasa. The winners of each of these games will meet in the National Championship game on Monday, April the 4th. Get your popcorn ready.
Speaking of Basketball. Don't look now, but the Spurs could make the NBA playoffs in a play-in scenario. The Lakers' loss last night moved the Spurs into the 10th spot in the West and if that says, the Spurs would have to win the play-in round to officially make the playoffs. GO SPURS GO!
