Inside the Elegant 6300 Sq. Ft. Estate in Saratoga Built for an NFL Legend
While you're enjoying your NFL Super Bowl Bowl Weekend, here's a Capital Region fun fact for you:
Many of us know (or knew) that former Giants, Patriots, Jets, and Cowboys head coach Bill Parcells had a home in Saratoga, but perhaps we only heard about where it was, or it was pointed at in the distance, but now we can take a look inside!
When Bill Parcells had his exquisite, 6,300 square-foot home built in Saratoga Springs back in 2005, he may have known he was nearing the end of his Hall of Fame coaching days in the NFL, we just didn't know it at the time.
15 years ago, Parcells was enjoying a pretty decent run as the Cowboys head coach, taking them to two playoff appearances in his four years at the helm. And even though many thought he would be back to coach the team, he ultimately retired from coaching at the end of the 2006 season.
By that time, his estate in Saratoga was built, and Parcells would enter the world of NFL retirement in Upstate New York.
The home that Parcells built back in 2005 is over 6,000 square feet, "with one-of-a-kind features include-custom woodwork, wide baseboards, crown molding, rounded archways & custom decor, home sound system, hardwood flooring, mahogany woodwork, 2-story LR, gourmet custom kitchen w/Viking appliances, granite countertops, butler's pantry, screened-in porch, finished lower level w/bar, family rm, gym & steam shower" and more.

And while it's unclear if Parcells moved into a new home in Saratoga, or is now living primarily in his other home in Florida, we do know that this house was sold in July 2020 according to Realtor.com.
