Nothing cures a broken heart faster than some whiskey and dancing, and Jon Pardi proves that in his "Heartache Medication" music video.

Hoping to mend the pain from a soured relationship, Pardi is in search of some heartache medication in the video for his current single. He finds what he's looking for inside a local honky-tonk, where he nurses a glass of whiskey before a new woman catches his eye. The singer then sweeps her out on to the dance floor, spinning her around as the two line dance alongside a group of bar patrons as lyrics "And here I go again / I'm drinkin' one, I'm drinkin' two / I got my heartache medication, a strong dedication / To gettin' over you, turnin' me loose," play in the background over a traditional country melody with fiddle and steel guitar.

"Heartache Medication" is also the title of Pardi's third studio album, which follows his 2016 breakthrough, California Sunrise. The album's 14 tracks include a duet with Lauren Alaina on "Don't Blame it on the Whiskey" that's co-written by Miranda Lambert and Eric Church. Pardi has also shared the rowdy "Me and Jack" and somber "Ain't Always the Cowboy."

Riley Green's "In Love by Now" Is Such a Heartbreaker

"There’s a lot of songs and subjects that this album talks about, and it could be sad like a loss, or just kind of down, but the songs lift you up. They put you in a higher place,” Pardi describes of the record.

Days after the album's release on Sept. 27, Pardi will embark on the Heartache Medication Tour that takes him and opener Riley Green on a cross-country trek, beginning with two sold-out shows at the Ryman Auditorium on Oct. 1 and 2.
