Jury Deliberation Begins Today in Oneonta Murder-Arson Case

The jury in the Gabriel Truitt murder case will begin deliberations today. According to AllOTSEGO, the prosecution and the defense gave closing statements on Wednesday after Public Defender Michael Trosset presented his case in just under an hour, calling two witnesses before resting. Truitt is accused of setting a fire at a Walling Avenue apartment building which took the life of former Oneonta firefighter John Heller.
