Lakefront Music Festival is scheduled to take place this July in Prior Lake, MN. The festival was forced to cancel last year because of COVID-19, but this year organizers expect it to be a sold out event. There are two nights of the festival on July 9 and July 10. July 9 will feature a classic rock theme with bands Styx and Cheap Trick as headliners, with 38 Special opening.

Then on July 10, Noah Guthrie, Jake Owen, and headliner Lady A will take the stage. Tickets per night ahead of time in advance are $50 a night, or $75 for both nights. Those prices are good thru June. In July ticket prices go up to $60 per night, so it makes sense to plan ahead and get your tickets earlier. Like organizers have said, they expect tickets to sell out.

There were a limited number of VIP tickets for sale, but as of June 2 they have sold out. Those were priced at $175 a night and included front stage access, hospitality VIP tent, catered food, shelter and shade.

The COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted, but Lakefront Music Festival promises to keep additional safety measures in place such as social distancing, more bathrooms, hand washing stations, and new cleaning procedures.

The festival takes place in Prior Lake at the Lakefront Park. It's located just off highway 13.

Most of us are familiar with Lady A and Jake Owen, but Noah Guthrie has started to make a name for himself as well. He appeared on season 13 of America's Got Talent. He's also been playing opening gigs for quite some time.

Tickets are on sale now for the festival online until they sell out.
