Local Area Population Is On The Decline

New York’s population is on the decline according to data released from the U.S. Census Bureau. An estimated 73,000 people moved out of New York State between July 2015 and July 2016 and according to bureau that is nearly twice the figure for the previous two years.
The report says that between 2010 and 2016 Otsego County’s population dropped 3.4%, Chenango County’s by 3.8% and Delaware County’s population declined by 5.1%
