Well, we've had some nice days so far this summer, so you've probably ventured outside to get some sun. Did you get into the bathing suit and immediately become aware of the quarantine 19?

So many people have turned to social media to express their feelings about how they went into quarantine thinking they were going to come out jacked, only to be ejected from the other side a few lbs heavier than anticipated. It always starts out that way, right?

Optimism was key to getting through those first few weeks. As the quarantine continued to drag, however, things took a turn..... to the pantry.

With that, here we are. Not many have us will come out of quarantine with the amazing physique we hoped we'd become dedicated to working for. Nope. Instead, we've all just proven that even with nothing else to do all day other than sit inside, we'd rather do almost ANYTHING ELSE besides work out.

New evidence shows that we're not the only ones who struggled to maintain their figures as COVID-19 wreaked havoc on our lives. Your pets are a little thicker than they were back in February. In a survey conducted by Banfield Pet Hospital, it showed that one in four pets have gained a bit of weight since the pandemic hit the states and forced everyone into lockdown.

Even bigger numbers reflect the amount of treats pets are receiving as a result of the stay-at-home order. 40% of pet owners are giving their fur babies more treats than they normally would if we weren't in the middle of a pandemic.

So, do yourself a favor. Get out there and walk! Take your pup with you.
