The Oneonta City School District will award the top history project to one 4th grader Tuesday night.

The 2013 Sally Mullen Local History student projects will be recognized at a reception on Tuesday evening from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Greater Oneonta Historical Society's History Center.

Visitors will be able to view student projects by Oneonta 4th graders who submitted entries for this year's contest theme, "Famous Oneonta People."

The top three entry winners will be announced and cash prizes of $75, $50, and $25 will be awarded. The event is free and open to the public. Last year's 1st place winner was Riverside Elementary's Aiven Malanoski.
