Red Cross Offers Independence Day Safety Tips

The American Red Cross no matter what’s planned for Independence Day be sure and put safety first. The Red Cross says when grilling never leave it unattended and be sure there is proper ventilation along with locating the grill away from any dry brush or vegetation. Swim only in areas where a lifeguard is present and have younger swimmers wear an approved life jacket. The organization also recommends leaving the holiday fireworks to the professionals.
