On Tuesday Governor Cuomo signed legislation banning the use of e-cigarettes on school grounds statewide. Essentially e-cigs are now classified the same as tobacco on school grounds meaning vaping is prohibited in all buildings, structures and surrounding outdoor grounds on the property of all public, private pre-school, nursery school, elementary, or secondary schools or district owned vehicles. Legislation passed in June toughened e-cigarette regulations in bars and restaurants along with other places where tobacco use is banned.
