State Police Investigate Fatal Accident in Otsego Monday Night

New York State Police are investigating a fatal accident that killed Cole D. Snyder, 36, of Hartwick, late Monday night in the Town of Otsego.

The two-car accident happened on County Route 22 in Otsego, according to a police report.

An investigation revealed a 1995 Ford operated 52-year-old George P. Dahrough driving westbound crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with a 1990 Toyota driven by Jesse D. Snyder, 62, of Richfield Springs.

Cole Snyder, a passenger in the Toyota, was pronounced dead at the scene. Jesse Snyder was taken by ambulance to Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown in critical condition.

Dahrough was also taken to Bassett Hospital with minor injuries.
