There will be a State/Local Primary Election on “THURSDAY”, September 13, 2018. Polls will be open from noon to 9 p.m.

Parties and offices having a primary:

Democratic: Governor, Lt. Governor, Attorney General, State Senator 42nd District & Town of Middletown Member of Council 3 Year Vacancy Opportunity to Ballot,

Republican: Member of Assembly 122nd District,

Reform: Attorney General & State Senator 42nd District Opportunity to Ballot.

An Opportunity to Ballot allows a party a chance to write in a name at a primary election to be on the ballot for the General Election.  Anyone physically disabled, or persons not able to be in Delaware County during the primary voting hours, if registered in an appropriate party, are eligible to vote by applying for an absentee ballot.  September 6th is the last day an absentee ballot application may be mailed to the Board of Elections.

September12th is the last day to apply in person for an absentee ballot and the last day to mail a completed ballot to the Board of Elections.  September 13th is the last day for a ballot to be delivered by agent to the Board of Elections.
