One thing I like about this time of year in addition to baseball season kicking off, is that artists and venues are beginning to announce summer concert dates, and the most recent is Keith Urban whose 45 date "Light The Fuse" tour gets underway in July...

With all the talking we do on air about the Taste of Country Music Festival June 13-15 at Hunter Mountain, it got me to thinking about how fortunate we have been in Chenango County over the last couple of decades in being able to see great country performers right here in our own proverbial "back yard...

Folks, this is the last Friday to take advantage of some great cooking as another Holy Family Fish Fry comes to an end. This Friday, March 22nd is the final dinner of 2013 in this, their 30th year of the Lenten season dinners. Take-out is available from 4:30-7, and eat in dining is from 5-7...

...of course, "On The Road Again."  Sarge and I held another on air poll this week trying to find your favorite Willie song.  Nelson is just one of the amazing country performers who will be a part of the Taste of Country Music Festival at Hunter Mountain June 13-15...

Today, Sarge and I asked you to pick your favorite Justin Moore tune, and the winner by a long shot was my favorite, "Bait A Hook." A close second was another great song, "If Heaven Wasn't So Far Away." Moore, of course is one of the awesome performers who will be on stage at the Taste of Country Music Festival at Hunter Mountain June 13-15...

This week our on-air poll was looking for your favorite "Blackberry Smoke" tune.  They, of course, will be at the Taste of Country Music Festival at Hunter Mountain in June.  As I said in an earlier post, I hadn't heard much of these guys before they were announced as part of the festival, but after listening to some of their stuff, I can't wait to see them...

TOC Festival performer Trace Adkins takes another shot at Celebrity Apprentice beginning this Sunday, March 3rd. Trace finished second to Piers Morgan his first time around and now will compete in the 'All Star" edition. Adkins will be competing for the American Red Cross this time around...

We continued our on-air poll this week to find out your favorite songs from artists who are appearing at the Taste of Country Music Festival in June at Hunter Mountain.  This time around we asked you to pick from 3 Joe Nichols tunes including "Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off," "The Impossible," and "Size Matters...

Of course there isn't...unless it's a chance to sit and feast with friends and neighbors in your community and talk about the Taste of Country Music Festival to decide who is going to order the tickets.  There are a few such opportunities in Chenango County this Saturday, February 23rd...

For our on-air poll this week, we asked you to choose your favorite Hunter Hayes song, and by almost 2-1 you like "Wanted." Amazing what he has accomplished in his 21 years on the planet, isn't it.  Hayes is part of the incredible line up performing at the Taste of Country Music Festival at Hunter Mountain June 13-15
