Ross Park Zoo

Binghamton's Ross Park Zoo is excited to announce the birth of a litter of absolutely adorable kittens to sand cats, Kaya and Amal.

Last year, organizers of the 1st Annual Music and Balloon Fest weren't sure how thi9ngs would go or if there would be a second such event.  Well, of course we know now that it was a great day in 2012, and there will indeed be a second annual festival, and this year's event is shaping up to be way bigger and better...

We told you yesterday about the great line-up of local performers scheduled for the July 4th festival at the Chenango County Fairgrounds, but there is plenty to do in addition to enjoying the  live music all day. There will be a Karaoke contest at 10 AM, the Ross Park Zoomoblie is open from 2-5, there's a hot dog eating contest at 2:30, and of course plenty of food, crafts and more...

We are fortunate here in the Southern Tier area to have so many talented bands and performers, and on the Fourth of July, you will have an opportunity to see and hear many of them on the same stage. The 2nd Annual Music and Balloon Fest will be held at the Chenango County Fairgrounds, and among the great area artists scheduled to perform are Kaitlyn Jackson, The Woodshed Prophets, The Jason Wicks
