Teens Arrested After Accidental Shooting

Two teenagers from Chenango County are in trouble after one shot the other in the shoulder. According to the Chenango County Sheriff's Office, the two teens from Smyrna were pointing rifles at each other last Thursday when one went off. The teen hit by the shot was treated at Community Memorial Hospital then released. Both were charged with reckless endangerment with the teenager whose gun fired facing a felony count. The two teens were released to their parents.
