This Week in Chenango County

Here a a few upcoming county events you might be interested in attending. First, the Chenango County Dept. of Public Health has one more free rabies clinic this month for dogs, cats and domesticated ferrets. It will take place Tuesday, April 30th at the Smyrna Fire Station from 5:30-6:30.  For more info, call 337-1673.

Also this week, there will be a pre - Mother's Day Craft and Bake Saturday, May 4th at the Sherburne Masonic Temple from 9A-2P. You will find assorted gifts for Mom as well as baked goods and it is sponsored by Trinity Star Eastern Stars.

The Del-Se-Nango Dance Hall in McDonough is open for the season under new management. There is round, square and line dancing each Saturday night from 7:30-11, with raffles and refreshments available.This Saturday, May 4th music is provided by favorites Doc Weismore and Real Country.

There is also a special event Sunday, May 5th at the Dance Hall. There will be a square dance and callers contest as well as a talent show.  Chicken BBQ served starting at noon.
