Toddler Drowning Victim Identified

Authorities have identified the three-year-old Gilboa boy who drowned Sunday north of Goodyear Lake. The body of Andrew Durkin was found by divers around 17 feet from a dock on the Susquehanna River. Durkin was pronounced dead at A.O. Fox Hospital in Oneonta. Police say Durkin was with his family including a twin brother who was identically dressed when the accident happened. The boy’s death is ruled accidental and no foul play is being suspected.
