Two Chenango County farms will be sharing in $385,000 awarded by New York to help meet new environmental requirements according to Governor Andrew Cuomo's office. The money supports projects that will allow livestock farms to better manage and store nutrients, such as manure, to protect ground water and nearby waterways. A total of $20 million was awarded to 56 farms across the state as a part of New York’s Clean Water Infrastructure Act of 2017.
