Capital Region fans of The Zac Brown Band will have to wait a little while longer to see "The Comeback Tour" as it was announced by Zac Brown himself on Tuesday morning that he has tested positive for COVID-19.

As a result of the unfortunate news, the band has canceled four of their upcoming shows on the tour including their SPAC appearance scheduled for next Sunday, October 3rd.

Zac Brown Tweeted the unfortunate news to fans this morning.  Here's what he wrote:

In addition to the SPAC show canceled for next Sunday, they've also canceled shows slated for Clarkson, MI on Sept. 30th, Burgettstown, PA on October 1st, and Syracuse on October 2nd.

The band released a statement on Twitter saying that "refunds can be issued at point of purchase" for the canceled shows.

This is a breaking news story and will update it as soon as we get more information.

We wish Zac, the bandmates, and their families nothing but the best and we hope for a speedy recovery and return to the Capital Region soon.
