Commerce Chenango CEO Gets Board Appointment To Help Chambers Across New York State
After aggressively pursuing and winning New York's State's latest round of Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) grant money back in December and winning $10M for the City of Norwich, NY; Kerri Green, President and CEO of Commerce Chenango has another big feather to add to her cap.
Green has just been elected to The Chamber Alliance of New York State (CANYS) Board of Directors and has already taken up her role according to a release. Green brings a lot of experience with her to that board with over twenty years of experience collaborating with different chambers of commerce, helping create economic development initiatives, and advocating for growth in Chenango, Delaware, and Otsego Counties.
Green's biggest achievement to date was Norwich's DRI grant award back in December which is a very competitive grant and one which the City of Oneonta was very happy to receive back in 2016 to the tune of $10M.
What will Green be doing as a CANYS board member? Her mission of advocacy and economic development through that organization continues alongside other expert professionals since the CANYS mission is to assist chambers of commerce across the station when it comes to membership, marketing, and bringing new innovative ideas to help those chambers succeed.
