New York State troopers arrested David Hook, 42, in Delhi on three felony counts and one misdemeanor. Hook is charged with criminal mischief, auto stripping, falsifying business records, and criminal possession of stolen property. Hook has a scheduled appearance at Delhi Town Court on April 5th.
State troopers in Margaretville arrested Richard T. Hildebrandt Jr. on multiple felony and misdemeanor charges including driving while impaired by drugs, grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property, and petit larceny. Hildebrandt is scheduled to appear in Middletown Court on April 14th.
Kimberly A. Stack, 50, of Cooperstown was arrested March 28th by Otsego County deputies following a motor vehicle accident in the Town of Otsego. Stack was issued traffic tickets and released. The defendant is scheduled to appear in the Town of Otsego Court at a later date.
New York State Police are asking the public to help locate Jeffrey A. McGough, 18, of Schenectady. McGough is wanted on the charge of second-degree murder in connection with the death of Connor Delaney in late January. McGough is described as a Black male, 5’1” tall of average build with brown hair and eyes.
Otsego County District Attorney John Muehl said Andrew P. Amodeo of West Harrison was given one-year probation because of an error in arrest procedures. Amodeo was arrested in 2020 and accused of unlawfully using a spy camera in his Fly Creek vacation home bathroom. Amodeo admitted guilt to one charge of unlawful surveillance. He allegedly recorded videos of naked family members.
Oneonta police are investigating a March 21st burglary at the Oneonta KFC, 370 Main Street. The break-in and burglary happened sometime after the restaurant’s 10 p.m. closing. OPD said the investigation is in the early stages.
