Norwich City Police To Participate in National Take Back Initiative

The Norwich City Police Department, in conjunction with the DEA, has scheduled another Prescription Drug Take-Back Day. It will take place this Saturday, October 26th from 10a-2P at the Norwich Police Station on East Main Street. There will be no questions asked.

This is the 6th such event in the past 3 years at the Norwich Police station, and according to Chief Joseph Angelino, each time large amounts of potentially dangerous narcotics have been collected. He added that in the past, nearly 100 pounds of unwanted narcotics were collected in a four hour period.
