Tenille Arts just scored her first ever number 1 hit on country radio with "Somebody Like That." She's a Canadian country artist who's had a lot of success in her home country, and now she's thriving on country radio. She called into The Bobby Bones Show to talk about the huge feat in recent days.

Arts never let the idea of "Somebody Like That" not going number 1 get her down. She admitted that she celebrated every single milestone that the song hit. She continued, "You can't predict how these things go." Throughout the several weeks of pushing, Arts said there were moments where she would just celebrate that her song was on the chart. The song is the first ever song to go number 1 on country radio that was written, produced, and song by a female artist. A huge feat for the women of country music. It's also one of a few songs that hit Canadian radio first and then went number 1 on country radio. After the song finally hit number 1, she confessed she heard from so many people, including several she hadn't heard from in years. But that didn't phase her, she responded to every single person that reached out because she said it was cool to see everyone know how important of a dream that was for her.

Now she's focused on her next steps. Arts shared that they're ready to share her next song with country radio called "Back Then Right Now."
