Time For The Annual Sheriff’s Summer Camp

The 24th Annual Chenango County Sheriff's summer camp begins in just a couple of weeks.  The camp gives kids an opportunity to interact with Law Enforcement personnel in a positive manner, learning respect, honesty, and responsibility, and is free to children ages 9-12 who reside or attend school in Chenango County.

Camp dates are as follow,  July 9 through the 12th for Norwich and Oxford school districts, July 16 through the 19th for Sherburne-Earlville and Unadilla, July 23 through the 26th for Greene, Afton, and Bainbridge-Guilford, and July 30 through August 2 for Gilbertsville-Mt. Upton and Otselic Valley.

Camps are held Monday through Thursday each week and applications are available at the Sheriff's Office in Norwich or online at the Sheriff's website.
