Winter Parking Ban Begins Soon in Norwich

The Norwich City Police Department is reminding city residents that the winter restriction on parking on city streets and parking lots will soon begin.  From November 1st through April 15, no vehicle can be parked on city streets between 2 AM and 6 AM.

This city ordinance includes every night during that period, not just a night when there is snowfall. Violators may receive a parking ticket that carries a 10 dollar fine, or in extreme cases, the vehicle may be towed.
