This Sunday, October 13th, friends and family of Maisie Grant will get together at the Rockin' Roadhouse in Mt. Upton to celebrate her all too short life.  Maisie was killed in a car accident earlier this week.  She always brought a smile to those she served, including me, at Park Place Restaurant in Norwich. There will be food, music and raffles to benefit Maisie's family in this time of need. She was indeed a wonderful young woman and will be missed by all who had the good fortune to know her.

Also Sunday, family and friends will hold a benefit for the Viera family from 11a-6p at Magros banquet hall in Sherburne. Megan Viera, a recent graduate of Sherburne-Earlville High School, was severely injured in an accident earlier this year and medical bills are mounting.

Finally, today and  tomorrow, a Concert For The Cause will be held to benefit the Clark-Dewey family who were involved in a tragic fatal car accident in August. Dad, David Clark was killed and mom Lorielei is undergoing extensive rehabilitation. The weekend kicks off with a baked ziti dinner Friday at 5Pm at Oxford High School.Performers from the area will also entertain.

Our prayers go out to all the families.
