UPDATE: Socks has been adopted!

Meet the Susquehanna SPCA “Pet of the Week” – his name is “Socks”.  Each week on Tuesday mornings at 8:30 am on Classic Hits 103.1fm, Leslie Ann will host members of the Susquehanna SPCA, who will tell us all about a special dog or cat at the shelter looking for its forever home.

Socks is a 9-month-old boy who is very handsome! He came into the shelter as a stray with his mother and littermate who have both been adopted. Socks is a little shy when he first meets new people and is often hiding in our community cat room taking a snooze, which has led to him being overlooked by potential adopters. However, our staff has learned that the key to his heart is treats. Give this handsome boy some yummy snacks and you've got a friend for life! Socks would do best in a quiet home with a patient adopter who will help him adjust to his new home. In an effort to help Socks find his forever home, his adoption fee has been waived.
