Norwich Man Wanted for Questioning in Assault at Fred’s Inn

New York State Police say they want to talk to a Norwich man about a domestic incident involving three people at Fred’s Inn at around 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 14.

Troopers say two people were assaulted and sustained minor injuries at the restaurant, bar and lodging facility on Route 12 in the Town of Norwich.

Investigators say they want to talk 53-year-old Jose Gonzalez and are asking anyone with information to contact the Norwich barracks at (607) 561-7400.

Authorities say the incident appears to be isolated and their investigation is continuing.
