For over two decades, The Chenango Blues Association has been bringing some of the top blues acts to the Chenango County Fairgrounds and this year is no exception.  One of the bands making a return appearance is Royal Southern Brotherhood, and if you saw them in East Park during the summer series last year, you know they are incredible.

This blues rock supergroup features Cyrill Neville of the Neville Brothers, vocalist and guitarist Mike Zito, bassist Charlie Wooten, drummer Yonrico Scott, and of course Devon Allman, son of Greg Allman.  In fact, they will be supporting Greg Allman's tour in December and January as well as performing with two greats-John Hiatt and Leon Russell.

The band's self titled first album was released a year ago and debuted at number 5 on Billboard's Blues Chart.  The album was also nominated for a Blues Music Award.

Royal Southern Brotherhood will appear on the main stage and are just one of the awesome performers scheduled for this year's festival which will be held August 16th and 17th at the fairgrounds.

Check out the incredible cover of Devon's father's  tune "One Way Out" below. It was a huge crowd fave in the park last summer.
